Description
We are seeking a skilled and responsible Telecommunication Assistant to lead and supervise site activities related to telecommunication cabling, cable routing, and terminations. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating site operations, ensuring proper installation and termination of fiber optic and copper cables, and completing assigned works in accordance with project specifications, technical requirements, and HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise site activities related to telecommunication cabling, cable routing, and terminations.
Coordinate and execute the installation, termination, and testing of fiber optic and copper cables.
Assist with fiber optic splicing, cable connectivity testing, and troubleshooting activities.
Ensure all cabling and termination works comply with project specifications, technical drawings, and client requirements.
Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and site teams to ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
Arrange and manage tools, materials, and equipment required for site operations.
Conduct site inspections and ensure proper cable dressing, routing, labelling, and installation practices.
Monitor work progress and report site updates, technical issues, and material requirements to the concerned team.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree is required.
Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively with team members and follow instructions.
Willingness to learn technical procedures and work at project sites.
A proactive attitude, with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to job requirements.
